Hi David, Yes, I believe so. And this is an interesting case: 1. She married Zadock Brown in 1828 and they had 4 children, last one born, Henry, 21 May 1835. Henry is listed as an Ash in the census records, but I think Zadock died before Henry was born and Mary Polly Crady Brown then married Reuben Ash in July. Therefore he takes the Ash name. That is the only thing that makes sense to me. I have not seen any evidence that Zadock took off or that they were divorced. But then again, I have not poured over the court cases of that period. I have not found a cemetery record of Zadock, either.... 2. She married Reuben Ash and they had 8 children - last one born 1849. DO YOU KNOW WHO THIS ZADOCK BROWN IS....???
