Would this John Johnson be the same one named in John Carson, Sr's 1824 will as a grandson? We have no record of a daughter who married a Johnson, but he did receive a 3rd interest in his grandfather's estate. Our assumption is that he might have been raised in the grandfather's household since the other grandsons listed received only a cow. The will also listed the fathers of the other grandsons, but not John Johnson's.
