Virginia Sophia, 55, b. Maryland James, 23, Ind Jane, 23, Ind Jack, 20 or 21 Hard to read, Ind On line 38 find: Samuel Smith, 30, Ind Anna, 24, Virginia Ellen, 7, Ind Harriet, 6, Ind Charles, 4, Ind James, 2, Ind Marriage Record of Harrison County, Indiana shows: Samuel Smith to Anna Kochenour (Gochenour) 23 Feb 1843. 1820 Census of Harrison County, Indiana shows: Lewis Roads and right below Lewis is Thomas Smith. Lewis Roads married Nancy Knighten 27 Dec 1810 in Nelson county, Kentucky. No proof that these are the families that married in Kentucky. Nancy and Sophia Knigthen were supposedly daughers of Elizabeth Knighten Newton Kendall Grass. Do know for a fact that three out of four Grass siblings settled in Harrison county, Indiana.
