Thank you Marqueta but I do have information on Elizabeth's parents John Donan and who I believe to be her mother Elizabeth Edgar. Susanna was the mother of Amy,Charlottte,Cynthia Sarah, and Jeremiah. I found a clue that he might have married Elizabeth Edgar and had more children Martha, Elizabeth, Lucy, John E, and Thomas Jefferson. I am looking for more concrete information on this. I checked the age of Susanna and it is possible she was the mother of all the children. One of the sayings that was passed down about my Elizabeth Donan was that she descended from a "full-blooded spaniard". Interesting that Susanna's maiden name is Despain. Elizabeth's sister Lucy married Uriah Gilliam Edgar. They both moved to Missouri. Lucy and her family lived in Ray Co and Elizabeth with her family lived in neighboring Carroll Co. Eli's parents are Samuel Mossbarger and Catherine Bunger. Elizabeth Donan was Eli's second wife. I have death certificates from some of their children that name them as parents but I cannot find a trace of a marriage record. They were married about 1847.
