I am trying to find out if there was a Daniel Horton born about 1790 living in Hardin Co, KY around 1790-1850. He shows up on the 1850 census in Madison Co, MO with a wife named Mary (Polly) and several children born in MO but the eldest was born in KY. His son's name was Daniel C., Jr in the MO records and was born about 1825. I have been told he (the eldest Daniel) may be the son of Reuben Horton who lived in Warren Co., KY but I haven't been able to make a connection yet. Also his wife's maiden name was Clark (taken from their daughter's death certificate) which there is a record in the marriages of a couple by the same names in 1817 in Hardin Co, KY. Anything you can find or suggestions as to what I can do next will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Marilyn Orr
