Jesse and Nancy Davis are my direct ancestors. Jesse Gross Davis was the son of Henry Davis and Mary Ann Gross. Nancy Mason was the daughter of John Mason and Hannah Hutchison. They were married in Elizabethtown. They lived in Bardstown, KY, until moving to Gibson Co., IN, in 1819. They had 13 children. Point of interest: Nancy lived to be 101 years old, which was nothing! Her mother Hannah lived to be 111.
