I am trying to locate birth and death dates and place of burial for Charles Carter Bailey and his wife Jemima Allen Bailey. I know they both died in Hardin County sometime in the 1840's or 50's. In the 1850 Census Hardin Co. living in the household of George Bailey 37, is a Charles C. Bailey 64 born in VA. Hardin Co. Will Book E is will of Charles C. Bailey written Feb 5, 1851, Codicil Apr 30 1851 that names sons George W. & Terry Bailey; daughter Nancy Holston. I did see a marriage for Carter Bailey to Jemima Allen license Oct 7, 1811; return Oct 13, 1811. If the census sounds like your guy I can send you the written images.
