Friday, February 12, 1909 Mrs. Sarah Moore Sipes, wife of John Sipes, died at her home near Valley Station on Tuesday of pneumonia. She was reared in West Point and lived there until her marriage about 7 years ago. Was the daughter of John Moore. She was 35 years old. Member of Methodist Church. Survived by husband and 3 chil- dren. Funeral at Bethany Church, near her home, yesterday. Tuesday, February 16, 1909 Mrs. J. H. Moore of Danville visited her parents, Col. and Mrs. James B. Payne. Tuesday, March 9, 1909 Mrs. Albert Wetterer died at her home at Tunnel Hill yesterday. Her maiden name was Miss Martha Ellen Moore, daughter of the late John Moore. Was 54 years old. Survived by husband, 3 sons and a daughter. Funeral at Mt. Zion on Wednesday. Friday, April 2, 1909 Mrs. W. H. Cofer died in Hodgenville yesterday of chronic bowel trouble. She was the niece of Mrs. J. R. Moore of Elizabethtown and daughter-in-law of W. F. Cofer a Tonieville merchant. Friday, April 9, 1909 Mrs. Elizabeth Robison died at her home in New Albany on Tues- day from bronchitis. Was the daughter of Mr & Mrs James Moore of Rineyville area. Born in Hardin Co. Survived by 2 sons and a sister. Her parents died some time ago. Burial in Louisville. Friday, April 23, 1909 Mrs. J. H. Moore of Danville visited her parents, Col. and Mrs. J. B. Payne. Tuesday, May 18, 1909 Mrs. Lassie Dewey Moore of Williamsport, Pa. visited her sister, Mrs. C. R. Wood of Sonora. Tuesday, June 22, 1909 Miss Willie Moore of Leitchfield visited her sister, Mrs. C. M. Vertrees while on her way home. (Cecilian News) Tuesday, August 24, 1909 Mrs. Anna Moore of In., who recently concluded a visit to her son of near East View, died at the home of a relative in Clarkson. Was 69 years old. Mrs. Anna Moore of In., who recently visited her son, James Moore of near East View, died at Clarkson while on a visit to her son-in-law, S. A. Shelton and family. Mrs. Moore formerly resided near East View. Married twice, both of her husbands being named Aaron Moore and the first one was a minister of the Methodist Church. She was 69 years old and a member of Methodist Church. Survived by 2 children, James Moore of near East View and Mrs. Kate Hoagland of In. Also leaves a brother, Mr. Hawkersmith of Madisonville, Ky., who is about 89 years old. Funeral at Clarkson. Survived by a son, Will Bramlette and 2 daughters, Mrs. Jeff Morrison and Mrs. E. C. Moore of Elizabethtown. Burial at Sonora on Wednesday. Friday, November 12, 1909 Mrs. Minnie Moore Doffloronge, wife of Richard Doffloronge, died at her home in Tucumcari, N. M. this week. Was the daughter of Mr & Mrs James R. Moore of Elizabethtown where she was born and reared. Formerly taught school in Hardin Co. The remains will arrive in Elizabethtown tomorrow. The Moores have lost 4 daughters in the past year. Tuesday, November 16, 1909 The remains of Mrs. Richtor Doffioronge, daughter of Mr & Mrs James R. Moore, who died in New Mexico last week, reached Elizabethtown on Saturday. Friday, November 19, 1909 Hugh Larue and wife, J. T. Larue and wife, B. F. Hayes and daughter, Miss Florida, Mrs. Mary K. Hayes and Misses Mary and Mattie Hays of Hodgenville, attended the funeral of Mrs. Minnie Moore Doffloronge in Elizabethtown on Sunday. Tuesday, November 23, 1909 Mrs. Minnie Moore Dofflorronge was born Jan. 26, 1883 and died Nov. 9, 1909. Was the daughter of Mr & Mrs J. R. Moore of Eliza- bethtown. Married Richtor Dofflorronge in Louisville on Aug. 2, 1905. Was formerly a school teacher in Hardin Co. and at Kenyon College at Hodgenville. After her marriage she and her husband resided in Nashville, Tn. and in Alabama and later to Tucumcari, N. M., where she died. Member of Methodist Church and member of the Ben Har- din Helm Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
