I am trying to establish any contacts concening Ernest Christian MILLER who died 1798 in Hardin Co. (one report has it in Nelson Co.), Ky. I gather he was born 1732 in Germany, came to US in 1753 on ship Edinburgh, lived in Germantown, Pa. until 1770 and was in Nelson Co., Ky. by 1780. His wife was Margaret and their children were: Margaret, Samuel, Adam, Christopher, Nicholas, Catherine, Thomas, Leonard and John. Does anyone know where he was 1770 to 1780? Son, Samuel, lived on Beech Creek near Boston Twp. in Nelson Co. Samuel had many contacts with a Jacob Miller who also lived on Beech Creek. Jacob was born about 1765, married to Elizabeth Hill and came from Washington Co., Pa. to Nelson Co. about 1800 and died in 1838. Does anyone know if Ernest Christian and this Jacob are related (this is not the Jacob Miller who lived in Gleanings area) ? Finally, does anyone know if either Ernest Christian or Jacob are related to my David Miller who came to Nelson Co. in 1796 (I think from Washington Co., Pa.), moved across Wilson Cr. to Bullitt Co. in 1800 and settled in now Marion Co. near Raywick in 1809, where he died in 1848?
