I have added several wills to my site at www6.ewebcity.com/lronan. They are: Ignatius Boles, Nelson County, KY Stanislaus Melton, Nelson County, KY James Brown, Nelson County, KY William Brown, Nelson County, KY. Now for the questions. I have Ignatius Boles and Catherine Gough as parents to my Anna Bolds who married Thomas French 1798, Nelson County KY (Marriage Bond and Consent Book of Nelson County, 1785-1800). The will I have posted if that of Ignatius Boles and he mentions wife Caty. He wrote his will in 1817 and it was proved in 1817. In this will, daughter Anna Bolds (spelling) is mentioned. If my Anna was married 19 years earlier, I doubt that this is her father!!!! This really throws a wrench in my genealogy. I know of another researcher that has documented evidence of an Anna Bolds m. to a McBride, and I expect this is the father of this Anna, which leaves me without parents for mine!! Help someone please, my tree doth fall apart.
