Thanks Millie for the clues to go on. I'm not great at land records. I really have been lucky with other family groups either by living near the area or having cousins living near the areas. I think the lands were sold off about 1850. I'll have to go back to the deed index and see if there is a Caldwell listed then. By 1840, the Cladwell were in Simpson and Logan COs.
