I am practically a stones throw from the Salt Lake Family History Center and have only been there once to do family research years ago. I understand that a lot of what I was able to look up there years ago is now available at either closer LDS family history centers or online. I am getting to a time in my life when I can put more time into my family history and I would like to know if any of you know what you can get at a local family history center that you can't online. It is still hard with kids to get to family history centers for me. Okay.... let's just say I'm a little disorganized and somewhat lazy and prefer to do this work from the comfort of my own PC. Any advice would be appreciated. And since I am so close to the Salt Lake Family History Center what can I do there that I can't anywhere else? Hopefully in the future I will be able to make some serious trips there and maybe look up some stuff for others on this site. Julie ----- Original Message ----- From: "M. When I go to the Family History Center I spend my time looking at original records on film.
