Friday, July 30, 1909 Mrs. E. E. Miller of Mays Grove was called to the bedside of her sister, Mrs. Thos. Bridwell of near Franklin Cross Roads last Sun- day. Tuesday, August 3, 1909 John L. Goodman & Miss Julia Miller will be married today at the bride's home near Meeting Creek. Friday, August 6, 1909 My wife Bell Miller, having left me, this is to give notice that I will not be responsible for any debts she may contract. This August 2, 1909. George W. Miller, Clarkson, Ky. John "Jack" Goodman of near East View & Miss Julia A. Miller of Meeting Creek, were married on Monday. The young folks gave them an old fashioned charivar on Tuesday. Friday, August 20, 1909 Shepherdsville, Aug 17th- The infant child of Mr & Mrs Charles Miller was pronounced dead and preparations were made for the funeral on Friday. About the time set forth for the funeral, a big rainstorm came up and made the roads so bad that the funeral was postponed to Sat- urday. On Friday evening, a friend of the family discovered that the baby was not dead and it was restored to consciousness. It lived until Sunday. Friday, September 3, 1909 Rev. S. M. Miller was called to Campbellsville by the death of his mother on Wednesday. Friday, September 17, 1909 Ben Miller, son of Jim Miller living in the Condor area near Big Clifty, fell from a cliff 60 feet high on Sunday. It is thought that he cannot recover. He is 22 years old and single. Mr & Mrs C. E. Miller and daughters, Miss Pusey and Miss Maydee, left Tuesday for Wheatley, Ark. where they will make their new home.
