    3. Hi Nena, Well, what you sent me over is very interesting. The Samuel Brown who is yours and the father of Silas Burkes Brown, married Tabitha Carter, the sister of Susannah Carter who married my direct line ancestor, Joseph Brown, son of James Brown and Mary Matchett. Joseph and Susannah Carter Brown moved to Spencer County., Indiana. Two of their children's names were Oliver and Daniel, although Daniel was only 12 in 1836, Oliver was born in 1812. It is possible that there were other Browns in Spencer County, whose names were Oliver and Daniel. That is something we will have to investigate. But I have been trying to tie Samuel Brown to our family for a while... Anymore documents like that??? Thanks!
