Stewart, Road Supervisor of Hart Co., is lying unconscious at his home in Munfordville as a result of wound received from an un- known assailant on a lonely road 6 miles from Munfordville on Satur- day night. Persons driving on the road found him yesterday and no one had been able to find a clue to the identity of the assailant. There is little hope of his recovery. He is 65 years. Friday, August 6, 1909 Mrs. W. R. Stewart of East View had a son born Monday. He was named Joseph Robert Stewart. Tuesday, August 17, 1909 Miss Annie Stuart & Christian L. He is the last of a large family, one os his sisters married Melford Stuart of Glendale. Member of Methodist Church.
