He was an uncle of John Daugherty and Mrs. Ida Hart of near East View. Survived by a child, James Daugherty. His wife, formerly Miss Molly Cash, died 3 years ago. Tuesday, September 21, 1909 Richard Cash left Friday for Ala. where he will work in a civil engineering corps for the Central of Georgia Railroad. This is her first visit back to Ky. in 18 years. Friday, November 26, 1909 Mr & Mrs J. R. Fife gave a social in honor of their nephews, Mitchell, Ralph and Robert Cash of Plains, Ks. (East View News) Tuesday, December 7, 1909 Samuel B. Nelson & Miss Bertha Lee Cash were married in Louisville this morning at the home of Rev. J. M. Weaver. Bride is the daughter of Sam Cash. Miss Alma Cash, sister of the bride, and Guy Jones, accompanied them to Louisville.
