Friday, July 30, 1909 Mrs. Mary A. Richardson died Wednesday at the age of 71 years at her home in Louisville of a complication of diseases. Native of Meade Co. and a member of the Frymire family that settled in Ky. when Meade Co. was a wilderness. Was the widow of Daniel Richardson of Ekron, where she spent most of her life. Survived by following children: Mrs. C. A. Craycroft, Mrs. Susie Myers, Mrs. June Brown, Mrs. Belle Ashcroft, Mrs. M. R. Read, W. T. Richardson and James H. Richardson and several sisters and brothers. Burial at Ekron yesterday. Miss Laura Brown of Elizabethtown visited her uncle, Clyde Brown of Vine Grove. Master Loy Brown visited his father, Gabe Brown of near Wood- land. Loy has made his home with his aunt, Mrs. Rebecca Brown since his mother's death. Boyd Withers died at the age of 71 years at his home in Mul- draugh on Friday of acute Bright's disease. Was the member of one of the pioneer families of this part of the county. His father, Lewis Withers, settled in Stithton in 1807. Member of Otter Baptist Church. Survived by wife and 2 daughters, by a former marriage, Mrs. Anna Perry of Bartles and Mrs. Frank Brown of Vine Grove. He also leaves 3 brothers, Byron, Worth and Newton Withers, all of near Muldraugh. Burial in family cemetery. Friday, October 1, 1909 Mrs. Elizabeth Highbaugh died at the age of 94 years at her home near Hammonsville last Monday of old age. Member of Baptist Church. Survived by 4 children: John R. Highbaugh of Sonora, Lewis Highbaugh of Hammonsville, Mrs. C. Y. Thurman of Sonora and Mrs. Robert Gaddie of Hammonsville. Also leaves a brother, Mart Brown of Sonora. And a sister in Salt Lake City and another sister near Hammonsville. John Welsh & Miss Sadie Brown, both of near Stithton, were married by Judge Veirs in his office on Wednesday.
