Searcy of near Richmond, Ky. Tuesday, January 19, 1909 Wm. Thompson died Friday at the home of his brother-in-law, Bud Stuart of near Red Mills, where he visited. Died of pneumonia. He lived in Louisville. Survived by wife and 4 children. He was a brother- in-law of the late R. E. Stuart at Glendale. Funeral at the Catholic Church near Red Mills by Father Autheman of Cecilian and burial in Stuart Cemetery. Tuesday, January 26, 1909 Miss Kate Garland of near Long Grove visited her sister, Mrs. J. She will leave from there to go to Fordyce, Ark. to visit relatives. Friday, February 12, 1909 C. L. Searcy and daughter, Miss Elizabeth of Richmond visited the former's daughter, Mrs. J. Friday, April 2, 1909 Carmine and Nannie Stewart, who have been visiting their grandparents, Mr & Mrs T. J. Garland of near Hansbrough and Garland Stewart, who has been the guest of his uncle, Sherman Stewart of Stephensburg, for several weeks, will return home in a short time. All of his children and their families were in attendance: Mrs. Col. Craig, Mrs. Ben F. Jenkins, Mrs. Dave Perry, Mrs. Joe Jeffries, Mrs. Alex Heady, Mrs. Will Stuart and Mrs. Charles Craig. William Johnson and family, a near relative, of near Elizabeth- town was in attendance. Tuesday, May 4, 1909 Miss Annie Stoy of Leitchfield visited her cousin, Mrs. W. P. Stuart. Mrs. J. W. Stewart visited her parents, Mr & Mrs Charles L. Searcy of near Richmond. Friday, May 7, 1909 Arthur M. Bogue, who lives a few miles south of Sonora, celebrated his 75th birthday recently. All of his children and grandchildren were present: Marselle Bogue and wife, Frank Reynolds with wife and child- ren, Jas. H. Bogue, R. M. Sullivan with wife and children, all living near Sonora and Mrs. Emmett Stewart of near Nolin. (Sonora News) Tuesday, May 11, 1909 Mrs. Fannie Stewart and her guest, Mrs. Kate Hicks of Elizabethtown, visited their brothers, J. W. and J. S. Cralle of Meeting Creek. (East View News) Tuesday, May 18, 1909 Wm. Johnson died Saturday in Elizabethtown. Born 75 years ago in Nelson Co. and moved to Louisville when a young man. While there he married and came to Red Mills in Hardin Co. shortly before the war. Later moved to Elizabethtown. Was a plasterer by trade. Married twice, his last wife survives with 2 children, Hugh Johnson of Louisville and Miss Nellie Johnson of Elizabethtown. He is the last of a large family, one os his sisters married Melford Stuart of Glendale. Member of Methodist Church. Burial in Elizabethtown City Cemetery yesterday. Charlie Churchill died in Louisville on Friday. Burial in Elizabethtown City Cemetery on Saturday. The following people from Louisville at- tended the funeral: Mr & Mrs Charles T. Ballard, Charles T. Ballard, Jr., Mr & Mrs Jefferson D. Stewart, Mrs. Luke P. Blackburn, Rogers Thurs- ton, Breaux Ballard, Misses Fanny and Amelia Ballard. Friday, May 28, 1909 Miss Sarah Stuart of Hardin Co. & John Miller of Kline, Co. were married at the Presbyterian parsonage in the groom's home town. Groom is a rancher and met his bride about 15 years ago in Ky. They will reside in Kline. Tuesday, June 8, 1909 Charley L. Searcy of Richmond, Ky. visited his daughter, Mrs. J. Walker Stewart of Hardin Co. Friday, June 18, 1909 Mrs. Levi Masden and daughter, Mattie of Cedar Creek, Mr & Mrs Matt Stewart and mother, Mrs. Ken Fowler of Colesburg visited Mr & Mrs Ken Fowler. Friday, June 25, 1909 Mrs. Walker Stewart has gone to Waco, Madison Co., to visit her pa- rents, Mr & Mrs C. L. Searcy. Friday, July 2, 1909 Rev. R. W. Browder of Bowling Green visited his daughter, Mrs. Harry B. Stewart of Elizabethtown.
