I have seen the maps and read about the Little York community in northern Hardin County, now Meade County. I have minimal anecdotal data to suggest that the Little York township in the 1820s included the communities of Sonora, Upton in southern Hardin Co., and the eastern/southern parts of what is now LaRue County. Are you aware of any reference to suggest what the boundaries of the Little York township of 1820 Census are? To me it seems inconsistent to have Little York as a township to include communities in both northern and southern Hardin County to include what is now Meade (to the north) and LaRue (to the south) counties.
