Thursday, June 30, 1887 John Cissell of Athertonville died last Tuesday at the age of 65 years. He had heart disease. Burial in New Haven. Thursday, October 11, 1888 Thomas W. Creal died at his home in Buffalo on Tuesday, October 9. Was 42 years old, being born December 14, 1846 on Lincoln's birthplace, 3 miles south of Hodgenville. On Sep- tember 31, 1880, he married Miss Mallie Brownfield of Hardin Co., the daughter of George Brownfield. Survived by wife and 4 children. Also leaves a mother of nearly 80 years, a sister, Mrs. Henry CISSELL and 2 brothers, Hon. R. W. Creal and John C. Creal. Death was due to typhoid malarial fever. Burial in Buffalo Cemetery the following day. Thursday, March 14, 1889 Morris Cecil of Elizabethtown died on the 1st. Thursday, April 23, 1891 Mrs. Elizabeth Cecil of Balltown in Nelson Co., died on the 12th at the age of 76 years. Thursday, December 10, 1891 Mrs. Belle Cecil, wife of J. A. Cecil of Fredericktown, died De- cember 1. Thursday, February 4, 1892 George Cissell killed J. H. Greenwell of Nelson Co. on Friday after they had a fight. Thursday, January 26, 1893 H. A. Cecil, president of Cecilian College, died at his home in Cecilia on Tuesday of blood poisoning. Thursday, March 30, 1893 The 2 year old son of Milburn Cissell died one day last week. Burial in Catholic Cemetery in New Haven. Thursday, November 14, 1895 Mrs. Isabell Cecil, wife of James Cecil of Balltown in Nelson Co., died of heart disease on Friday. Thursday, September 2, 1897 Henry Cecil fell dead at his home near Franklin Cross Road in Hardin Co. on the 13th. Died of a heart attack at the age of 65 years. Thursday, August 18, 1898 Henry Cissell of Lincoln Springs area, died last Saturday at the age of 64 years. Burial in Catholic Cemetery in Hodgenville on Monday. Leaves wife and several children. Three of the children are unmarried. Thursday, September 14, 1899 Miss Mary Emma Cissell, daughter of Mrs. Mollie Cissell of Raywick in Marion Co., died at her home on Monday. Thursday, February 1, 1900 Miss Nettie Creal died Saturday, the 27th at the home of her brother, R. W. Creal. Burial in Buffalo Cemetery. Died of can- cerous tumor. Was born February 11, 1849. Leaves 2 sisters and 2 brothers: J. C. Creal, Miss Tamsel Creal, R. W. Creal and Mrs. Mary CISSELL of Lincoln Springs. Thursday, February 21, 1901 Mrs. Wat Cissell, mother of George Cissell, died Tuesday near Roanoke. Funeral at Valley Creek Baptist Church. Thursday, April 4, 1901 Samuel Cecil shot and killed Anthony, the son of Michael Thomas, at Howardstown on March 30. Thomas was 19 years old. Both had been drinking. Thursday, November 7, 1901 James M. Cissell, Jr., died near Raywick on Friday, October 25. Was 28 years old. Son of Marion Cissell. Death was due to injuries received last Thursday. His wife died about 4 years ago.
