    3. Can someone clarify who the parents were of Jacob "Miller Jake" Van Meter who settled in Severn's Valley, Hardin Co., KY. I have seen the history books that explain he was the nephew of Jacob "Valley Creek Jake" Van Meter. But now I have run into conflicting information about who "Miller Jake"'s parents were. One source says "Miller Jake" was the son of 'Valley Creek" Jake's brother Henry Van Meter. (Then more confusion as some dispute that that Henry was Valley Creek Jake's brother.) Another source says "Miller Jake" was the son of John VanMeter of Berkely Co., VA. 1. Who were the parents of "Miller Jake" Van Meter? 2. Did "Valley Creek Jake" have a brother Henry Van Meter who married a Martha? Please cite your sources so I know if we are looking at the same sources or if you have a different source than I do. Many thanks, Helen Graves
