    3. i had family lived in harden county, before and possibly after 1850 would like to find those belonging to jackson wadley and wife jane ? jackson and wife moved to bates county,missouri ,between 1850.on hardin census and 1860 and 1870 where they appeared on both census for bates county,missouri i have only found one of thier children,he was winfield scott wadley, jackson and wife jane also had missouri wadley,female, columbus wadley and hardin wadley. thanks rebecca

The said Commissioners proceeded to receive Claims."* [1] Saturday, 14th October 1775. Claims [at Romney in Hampshire County]....Edward Grimes for provisions;... 2. Honora, p.55 Captain Hugh Stephenson's company... The author has bios of Captains at the end of most pages - "Captain Stephenson was born in 1729 in Wesmoreland County, Virginia, the son of Richard and Honora (Grimes) Stephenson. His mother Honora was previously the widow of William Crawfor, Senior, and he was a half brother of Colonel William Crawford and a full brother of Captain John Stephenson (q.v.) He married Ann Whaley in Berkeley County in 1747. He took a company to Roxbury, Massachusetts at the beginning of the Revolution, and they served sooon after at Dorchester Heights and on Staten Island before returning home. I am curious as to your connection to the Gill family. My great grandmother was Laura Belle Gill b 07 Dec 1864 d 27 Feb 1915. She is buried in the Tarpley Cemetery. My brother took photos in the Mill Creek Baptist Cemetery when he visited the area last year as many of our relatives are buried there but we do not live in the area. I may be able to help you with the information on Wm Gill/ Bill Leonard information if you will contact me.
