Debbie, would you mind listing which Tucker goes with whose will, and the date? Thanks. > There are no wills for Tuckers listed, but the following Tuckers are > listed in the book in other peoples wills: John, Mark, Nathan, Sarah.
Rochelle, You may have this info already that I found in "Hardin County, Kentucky Cemetery Inscriptions Vol 2" by James Allison Jones & Mary Josephine Jones. Moore Cemetery Johnston Edgar July 11, 1795 - Dec 13, 1859 h/o Susanah Susanah Edgar, w/o Johnston June 6, 1799 - Dec 8, 1859 Susanah F. Edgar, d/o J & S Feb 20, 1830 - Nov 27, 1851 Priscilla
Rochelle, Johnston Edgar is not listed in the book of wills. Priscilla
No I don't know that he did Peggy. I just hoped he did so I might get a listing of some of his children. So there apparently is still hope right. Maybe some other type of record. Put the surname under Grantor. Also, if you want to see a list of all wills, don't put a name under Grantor, but put a date range under Date File for example 01/01/1740 to 01/01/1880. Also, under Grantor, if there is several spellings of the name, just put the first 2 or 3 letters to catch all spellings. I access the images themselves, through this route: My computer uses Windows98, an earlier version than XP. I downloaded a free program, AlternaTiff. It explains in detail how to disable the portion of Quicktime that prevents you from seeing the images. Don't let the thought of this put you off. Not hard to find or do, and you won't hurt any of your files by 'fiddling' with it. Once you do that, you have no problem viewing the images. However, if you use Quicktime for something else, you may have to go back and simply recheck the box to enable it. When you bring up the image through Alternatiff (Quicktime disabled), the tool bar above the image allows you to save it on your computer wherever you wish. You evidently have Quicktime listed as your default viewer. Try right clicking on the "Document Number ?" link and saving it to My Pictures and then right clicking on it to "open with" whatever program you have that will view tif/tiff files. Windows Picture and Fax Viewer really is the best to view the documents and save them.
