Larry, Thank you so much for all you do for the Harris research. I will look forward to seeing what you uncover. And that it will be documented. Let me know if I can help at all. It would be in Hardin County, Ky. The reservation itself covers 110,300 acres in Hardin, Bullitt and Meade Counties. Sorry - I am trying to locate any information regarding Kessiah's date/place of death or burial information. Neglected that bit of information in previous message. Susie
Trying to find any listing/certificate/obituary for Kessiah Spencer. Name was also spelled Keziah/Kesiah. I know she was in Grayson County until 1857 according to the tax lists and she does not appear anywhere on the 1860 Kentucky Census. I am checking with Hardin county also since Kessiah had several children, some of whom were in Hardin County. I don't know if she lived/stayed with them at any time, but thought it would be worth a try. Kessiah was born about 1800 in Virginia according to the 1850 Grayson county census. Thanks for any help. Don't show any marriage for Conrad and Elvira, do you know where they married. I am interested in the Wright as there are Wrights in the Harris family I am researching. There is a Coonrad married to Margaret Sprotsman 2-22-1800. Squire M(Martin ?) married Nancy Ellen Cain 8-27-1868. Nothing on Elizabeth or William James R. married Mary Josephine Ford 2-12-1862 Daniel G. married Sarah J. Wright 3-16-1866 These were on the Hardin County Clerk web site www.hccoky.org Birth records will not be easy for that early, I don't know where they would be if at all. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Monday, July 11, 2005 7:25 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [KYHARDIN] Frakes Family/Need Birth Lookup This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Well Larry, It was a nice thought. Thanks for doing the research. Obviously the old folks liked to pass on the folktales of the day to the younger ones. He was married to a woman named Sarah. I found in the 1850 census John and Sarah are both 21, with a child, Mary, 1 month old, and a Lidia Pearman, 19, living with them. I am wondering if this Sarah could be the sister of Lidia Pearman. Cebert Pearman is living in the same township. Can you help me?

Larry and all, Larry I can't wait to read what new and confusing information you can add to our exciting Harris line. I'll be on vacation for a short while come Monday, so it will be awhile before I can look over what everyone has discovered in my absence. I do want to say however, if any one ever makes it to Gentry Co. and goes to any of their libraries, I know that my gggrandfather, William McMahon Harris, wrote several other letters about his early days there to the historical society, and I have always wanted to find them. So if any one gets the chance, see if you can't locate more of his writings. Thanks, Julie ----- Original Message ----- From: "Larry S." <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, July 08, 2005 9:55 AM Subject: [KYHARDIN] Re: John Mayhew Harris
