Are there early death and birth records available in a published form? The Gorin Genealogical Publishing Company in Glascow, KY publishes for Hart Co. but not Hardin. Can't any one help? Thanks so much, Rochelle

If so, did you aquire if from your ALLEN ancestors. Reason: My grandparents had a daughter with the same name born in 1874.. I cannot locate her after the 1880 census of Maury County, Tennessee. Her parents were James Shelton ALLEN and Mary GIBSON. I just wondered if it was a family name or if I was barking up the wrong tree. Thank You, Joyce A. Luna

    3. Thelma Loyace Hawkins Stovall was the first woman Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky. She married L.R. Stovall. I would be interested in your Stovall family. My husband's grandmother was a Stovall from Hardin county so we have to be related. -------Original Message------- From: Sharon Weiss Date: 08/14/05 12:34:40 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [KYHARDIN] Lookups Priscilla, I'm not sure if this request qualifies. If not please let me know. While reading about the Hart County Civil War Days I noticed the reenactment takes place at the Thelma HAWKINS STOVALL Park. Is there any place to find more information on this woman ? I connect to both the HAWKINS and the STOVALLS in the area and would be interested in knowing about her. Thank you .
