I have looked around today and tried to figure out who is who. Not an easy task! The reason I am looking for this information is becasue my ggg grandfather William Toland married Julia Ann Traler/Trayler in 1858. She was born July 1827 and d Feb. 22, 1906. BUT before that he was married to Elizabeth Ingram . She was a Traler married to some Ingram at some point. (I can't find out any details for that.) William & Elizabeth were m June 27, 1850. She died soon after that. and then he married Julia Ann in 1858. A couple census records her name as July Ann Traler. I can't find out any information on Julia Ann. One thing I thought might be a hint is she named one of her sons Andrew Jackson and I see there is a Andrew Jackson Traylor. And his youngest son with Elizabeth Traler Ingram was named John Toland b. 1850 and he ends up being raised by the Gray family of Greenup County, with also has some tie to the Traylor family. My great grandfather Thomas Toland was born in Greenup Co Ky. when William and Julia Ann lived there. (1860's) Then they moved back to Scioto Co. Ohio. I know a great deal abt. my Toland family, but nothing abt. Julia Ann and that is a shame. I forgot to look up her death record when I was in the area last summer. I hoped it might give her parents name. In the records I have looked at, it seems as if there are name children of all the early parents unaccounted for. Have you come across a Elizabeth or July Ann/Julia Ann b. 1827 or so? There is a John Traylor in the 1860 Scioto Co. Ohio census . b. 1784. Any imput would be welcome!
