JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON EDWARD MARSHALL FROM THE MADISON COUNTY (OH) PRESS 3/19/08 Edward G. Marshall, 90, of Unionville Center and Plain City, OH went home to heaven March 16, 2008, at Millcrest Nursing Center in Marysville, OH surrounded by his loving family. Born September 10, 1917, in Greenup, KY, the son of the late George and Mimie (Walker) Marshall. He was a member of the Amity Enterprise Baptist Church. He retired from Marble Cliff in 1982. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a very avid vegetable and fruit gardener and loved keeping lawns beautiful. He married the former Sarah Jane Thompson in 1939. She preceded him in death April 19, 1985. He was also preceded in death by all of his brothers and sisters; Delford Marshall, Fred Marshall, William Marshall, Emma Palmer, Mandy Akers, Georgia William, Anna Stephens, Eula Morris; son-in-law; David B. McKitrick I. He is survived by wife, Esther Jane (Cantrell) Buckler Marshall whom he married March 28, 1987; son, John Roger (Phyllis) Marshall; daughter, Mary! Jane (Don) Garrabrant; grandchildren, John Edward Marshall, Susan (Tim) Rein, Sarah Ellen McKitrick, David (Carrie) McKitrick II; great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kaitlin Marshall, Amanda, Kathryn and Samantha Rein; stepchildren, John (June) Buckler, Steven (Lucy) Buckler, Kenneth Buckler, Brenda (James) Blanton, Sue Buckler; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. March 19, 2008 at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (state Route 161 W.), Plain City, OH where the funeral will be held at 1 p.m. March 20, 2008. Pastors Harold Collins and Michael Sammons will be officiating. Burial will be at Darby Township Cemetery in Unionville Center.
