Hi Everyone, I am looking for information on Eada Meadows and family from Greenup County, Ky. Eada married Gilbert Penix in 1857. If anyone out there has a Gedcom file on this particular Meadows family or any info at all could you please send it to me. I am looking for the parents of my ggrandmother Elizabeth Meadows. Elizabeth died very young possible in child birth in 1896. Her husband Peter Blevins from Ashe County, NC was listed in a 1900 census of Greenup County living in the home of Gilbert Penix. He was listed as a widowed son in law. His and Elizabeth's children were listed as Gilbert's grandchildren. Gilbert and Eada had several children and named one of them Elizabeth Penix. I don't think Eada would have named two daughters the same first name and different last names. The stories in our family goes that my grandmothers mother Elizabeth Meadows and her father Peter Blevins died when my grandmother was very young. And that her and her brother Roby Blevins were raised by the "Meadows" family I am at a dead end so any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Ed Cooper
