Hi, I to am looking for the parents of a William Cooper, (My grandfather) He was born in Greenup County, KY on August 20, 1884. His fathers name is listed on his death certificate as a Wesley Cooper, His mother as a Mary Jane Watkins. I have been unable to find any info on them at all. William had a brother named Tom Cooper who married Myrtle Penix. Myrtle was born May 3, 1894 married Tom Cooper on May 31, 1917 died Feb. 15, 1977. Tom Cooper born on June 13, 1887, and died April 20, 1966. All in Greenup County, Ky. William was married to Mary Dicey Blevins on September 27, 1910, and died on September 27, 1959. His wife Mary Dicey Blevins was born on March 30, 1896, and died on October, 3, 1941. She was the daughter of Peter Blevins from Ashe County, NC and an Elizabeth Meadows. Nothing is known of Elizabeth except she had something to do with the Gilbert Penix and Eada Meadows family of Greenup County, Both of Mary Blevins parents died when she was young and she was raised by an unknown Meadows family.
