Elora, My grandfather was Howard Tackett, s/o Henry and Emma Reynolds Tackett. Henry's parents were Lewis and Leandra Blankenship Tackett. Lewis's father was Lewis, Sr. who married Susannah Sumpter Tackett. The Tacketts came to Greenup Co., KY from Johnson/Morgan Co. Ky after 1885, but I haven't pinpointed it yet. Howard married Clara Markin and had 8 children including Elzie, Florence, Lucille, Luther, Ed, Don, Louise and Fern. Fern is my mother. Howard and Clara were also foster parents to Tommy Wilson. Henry and Emma had six children: Alonzo, Richard, Mary, Elizabeth, Howard and Charlie. I haven't located the names of Lewis and Leandra's children, nor the names of Lewis Sr. and Susannah's children.
