Looking for help sorting out the Tripletts of Greenup Co, and later Boyd Co. Thomas Triplett came from Mason Co, and was a blacksmith associated with mining industries. His wife Lizzie Cartwright was an orphan raised by her grandfather, Moses Cartwright. They married about 1857, though no marriage record has been found. About 1870 they left KY for West TN where Thomas ran a furnace. Does anyone know of existant records of any of the furnaces/mines that might mention employees in the 1850-70 period? John R. Long
