I'm looking for any information on the CARNER family that lived in Russell, Greenup Co. Alonzo Carner (b. 1858 in OH) and Nellie (or Ellen Jane) Gray (b. 1859 in Hamden, OH) had a daughter named Elona (my grandmother), who was born in Russell March 27, 1882. Alonzo's father Anthony was a riverboat captain and farmer who owned a landing on the Kentucky side of the river. Alonzo clerked on the boat (Steamer Victor No.2). Anthony was married to a woman named Henrietta (last name unknown). Their children were Alice, Alonzo, Nellie, Calvin H., Lizzie, and Eva.
