There is a "Hood's Run" which I believe runs along the east side of Tygart (Tiger) Creek. To access this road, you take RR #7 out of South Shore KY until you get to RR#2 (Raccoon Rd). Turn left on RR#2 and go about 1-2 miles, to the bottom of Racoon Hill. Hood's Run turns to the left and RR#2 continues on to the right and up Racoon Hill. Hood's Run road runs for quite a distance back to the north.
