Hi, I am looking for the HACKWORTH family. My gggrandfather was Burwell Hackworth , or perhaps George Burwell b ca 1786 (Bedford Co, Va) d 1836 (Greenup Co). m (Bedford Co) 25 Aug 1817-Jane Halligan (Holligan) . Their daughter was Jane, b 20 Jul 1827 (Greenup Co?). She m Thomas Jefferson Keyser ca 1843. They lived in Wayne Co, WVa and in Boyd Co during the Civil war, then back to Wayne Co. Does anyone know the anything about these people? I have no proof of Jane being Burwell's daughter except Ggrandmother's bible and she listed Burwell as Burl. Also I don't know where Burwell is buried . I have heard that he was in the War of 1812-no proof of that either. All help greatfully received. Peg
