Dear William, My Greenup Co. connections are to the POST line, but I was more interested in your note re: your gggrandmother, Martha Ann Messer. I have had a rough time researching the MESSER/MESSERITZ line. My gggrandmother was Sarah (Sally Ann) Messer/Messeritz b.Jan.12, 1824, Ohio??? d.aft.1863 in Adams Co. Ohio. Married to Issac Washburn (b.Nov.22, 1822, Ohio) approx.1843. There seems to be a strong Greenup Co.Ky.-Adams Co.Ohio connection, so I'm hoping you might have some additional info. Good luck on your search.
