Hi All, I just received some information from a wonderful women that has opened up some new possibilities. I have been trying to locate the mother of my grandmother Mary Dicey Blevins. On her death certificate her mother is listed as Elizabeth Meadows married to Peter Blevins (from Ashe County, NC) I have Peter and his two children listed as a Widowed son in law and grandchildren of Gilbert Penix in a 1900 Greenup County, KY Census. This Lady has obtained a marriage license for my Grandfather and Grandmother (William Cooper and Mary D. Blevins) They were married at the house of Gilbert Penix in Siloam, Ky. Giving further proof that she was indeed related to Gilbert and family. Does anyone have any info on any of Gilbert Penix's daughters: Elizabethborn 1874, Eveline born 1859 Johnson Co..... KY, Mary born 1860, Missouri born 1861, Minerva born1863,and Rachel born 1876. I am looking for spouses names, death dates, anything at all.
