Hi List. I found my Great Grandmother!! As most of you know I have been writing this list and many others (you probably got tired of seeing my postings) looking for my Grandmother's (Mary D. Blevins), Mother. On Mary's Death Cert. It had her mother listed as Elizabeth Meadows. I had Mary, her brother Roby and their father Peter Blevins in a 1900 Census of Greenup County, KY living in the home of Gilbert Penix and listed as a widowed son in law. On Mary's marriage cert. it stated that she was married in the home of Gilbert Penix. I found Mary's fathers marriage license in Carter County, KY He married an Anne Elizabeth Penix daughter of Gilbert Penix and Eada Meadows on 10/15/1890!! Everything I had found so far on Gilbert Penix and Eada Meadows children has a daughter Elizabeth. I believe her name was really Anne Elizabeth!! I am searching now for her death cert. I know she died between March 30, 1896, and 1900, possibly in childbirth. I would like to thank all the wonderful people who have helped me "knock" down this brick wall.
