Thanks everyone!! _________________________________________________________ My great grandfather, Karl Ludwig (Charles Louis) Urban is buried in the Ashland KY Cemetery near his brother, Jacob Urban. I have his death certificate, but some fool relative listed his parents as unknown. Jacob, apparently, was a fairly prominent citizen of Greenup County in the late 1800's. In the "History of Greenup County", he is listed as having owned a saloon in East Greenup (over the Rhine.) Jacob died in 1906 and Karl died on July 28, 1913. I have tried to find an obituary for either of them so that I can learn the names of their parents who were the original immigrants. I've tried the papers, historical societies, and the Archives at UK with no success. Any suggestions? Go Big Blue, Charles L. Urban
