In Reply to Carol There are two full pages in the Supplement to the History of Greenup County Kentucky on pg. 98. These pages deal with Col. Sebastian EIFORT born near Frankfort, Germany in 1817, he came here with his parents in 1832 and they settled in Lancastle, PA. They relocated to Jackson, OH in 1836 and he worked with the iron furnances there. The story continues. Also, on pg. 296 of the original book it mentions Kate EIFORT who married John Tug.
