Dear Researchers of Greenup County, Kentucky, "CLAY LICK CREEK" in Greenup County, Kentucky was the watercourse that Turner CRUMP wanted to build a Water Grist Mill on, according to a Writ of Adquoddamnum dated 19 Sep 1815. I found this document in "Talley's Kentucky Papers", page 359 and 360. Can someone please tell me where Clay Lick Creek was located in Greenup County? Since the document that mentions it was written in 1815, Clay Lick Creek might now be in a different county from Greenup. Thank you for your help in locating Clay Lick Creek. My interest in this proposed Water Grist Mill's location stems from the fact that in the list of Turner CRUMP's neighbors [those who would be affected by the construction of the Mill] were Robert DUGLASS and William DOUGLASS.
