Dear Researchers of Greenup County, Kentucky, Yes, the William COOPER, Tobacconist [the ONLY Tobacconist in Greenup County in 1850], whose 1850 enumeration was recently posted on the Greenup County List, was my third-great grandfather, and it was a boost to see him in print! My great great grandfather Adoniram COOPER was listed, as well. His given name, "Adoniram" was [and is] difficult to spell and to pronounce. It is pronounced "ADD-uh-NYE-rum", with the accent on the first and third syllables. I'll have to tell you about him sometime, too! Randal W. Cooper <rwcooper@kellnet.com> Lorain, Ohio
