James J. was a son of Stephen and Cynthia (Stratton) Hamilton of Floyd co., KY Ollie was the daughter of Abraham and Sarah (Dean) Wireman also of Floyd co., KY. James Hamilton and Ollie Wireman were married in Floyd co., KY and their daughter was born there. By 1870, however, they are in Greenup co., KY.
