Dear Researchers of Greenup County, Kentucky, I have found the information on Sebastian EIFORT that I referred to in my last post, in Evans's 1903 "History of Scioto County, Ohio", instead of in the Greenup County, Kentucky history. The article in Evans has a PORTRAIT of Colonel EIFORT, as well! He sported an "Amish" type beard, and bore quite a solemn expression, which of course most of the subjects of portraits and photographs did back then. It was not customary to smile for pictures in those days. I will post the information tomorrow, since, regretfully, I have run out of time to do it today. Randal W.
