Dear Randall, You have given me the first hint of a clue that I have had on a HALL family in Lawrence and Jackson counties Ohio and later n KY. esp. Carter Co. KY., Have been searching this ine for many years. I descend from one HALL family of Westmoreland Co PA. One of the HALL daughters married a CASSANDER HALL. records show only that Cassander was"born in New York " about l825. I do not believe that these two HALL families are related. Cassander's wife, MARY JANE HALL and her family had been in PA for many generations. I found, in the l850 census of Jackson Co. Ohio, a CASSANDER HALL and a JOHN HALL, both born in New YOrk State. They were living with their married sister, ANNETTE (ANETER, etc) and she was born in New York state too. So, my question is : In that Ontario Co. History, was there any info on these HALLS? Any records of ANY Halls who went to Ohio. An info you can send wwoud be greatly appreciated, and I will start a search on the net in Ontario Co. Thanks so ,much for the tip. Helen..
