Some of my ancestors lived in Greenup County at one time, namely: Benjamin R. TOWNSEND, who was born in Greenup Co. on 1 Aug 1833. He married Lucinda BARNEY, who was born in Greenup Co. 9 Dec 1835. They had four children: Jackson TOWNSEND (b KY), Henry Clay TOWNSEND (b KY), Lavenda Ann TOWNSEND (b MO) and Elizabeth W. TOWNSEND (b MO). Lucinda BARNEY's parents were Benjamin Franklin BARNEY and Lula Cynthia (Sitha) GREENSLATE. I would welcome discussion with anyone who recognizes any of these names.
