I have suspected my GGGrandfather Morgan Pierce Carver likely had multiple marriages... as others' lines have Nancy Dooley... or Nancy Scott... My late grandmother Hattie Alva Morris Carver's bible lists Nancy Kitchen as Morgan's wife... We also cannot rule out dealing with multiple Morgan's. Morgan Pierce's father was also named Morgan and I have at least three wives for him... anyone of whom could have named their sons after Morgan too...
