    2. Gaylord Cooper
    3. Is there any in Greenup County for a work shop on Gravestone interpretation. Anyone that has done any research on their family know they will spend many hours in cemeteries. There they are confronted with a staggering array of monuments, statutes, carvings, icons, and motifs. They all have meanings and can yield up an astounding amount of information to the researcher once they learn how to iinterpretate Them This course would be 2 hrs and would be taught at the various libraries in the county . It would cost $10.00 per person and that is only to cover the printing of a 35 page reference manual that comes with the workshop Let me know if there is interest in one of these workshops If anyone is interested I can email a full course outline. This same workshop will be taught this spring and summer (2008) In greatly expanded form at several colleges in the Tri-State. -- Thank you for your time and attention to this email Gaylord Cooper Author, Folklorist, STORYTELLER DIRECTOR EASTERN KENTUCKY STORYTELLERS GUILD 933 Johnson Lane South Shore, KY 41175 606-932-4958 coopergl@roadrunner.com
