My dad's great-great grandfather James Lawson lived in Greenup County Kentucky. James Lawson fought in the Revoluntionary war. James Lawson did have slaves. My father is Fred Joseph Lawson, his father was John Allen Lawson. My father's grandfather was John Pleasant Lawson. Great grandfather was John Lawson.
