    3. Helen: I ran across my GreatGreatGrandfather, John Merritt, in someone's family tree. They state that he died in 27 Jul 1892 in Walsenburg, Huerfano Co Ky. I contacted them inquireing about their sources, but have not heard back from them. An older family member tells me that he died in Greenup Co Kentucky. You got the same results I did when I googled Huerfano. I wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something along the line. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, March 04, 2004 4:46 PM Subject: [KyGreenup] Huerfano > Hey Kathy, > > I see not reference to Huerfano in relationship to Kentucky.
