    1. [KyGreenup] John Merritt
    2. Thomas Griesan
    3. Kathy, There is a marriage for John Merritt to Mary E. Losey in Lawrence County, Ohio on January 21, 1869. That's found on Lawrence County's marriage records, book 9, page 475. You are in luck in this case, because Lawrence County, Ohio has a fabulous website with loads of information and lots of volunteers. I have several Lawrence County, Ohio resources, and I will check in there for you. - Jean Griesan -----Original Message----- From: Kathy [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, March 05, 2004 7:02 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [KyGreenup] Huerfano John Merritt born Feb 04, 1847 Sorel, Quebec Canada [confirmed information] Married Mary Ellen Losey/Locey/Lacey Jan 21 1869 Lawrence Co Ky [ date/place not confirmed] Died July 27 1892 Could have died just about anyplace as far as I know right now, although the researcher says Walsenburg, Huerfano Co Ky. But that is wrong, as we know. Family says Greenup Co. As of the 1880 census, he was living in Greenup Co. In 1930 census, his wife was living with a daughter in Greenup Co. I cant remember anything in between right now, and I have a little one about ready to get up for the day! ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, March 05, 2004 8:17 AM Subject: Re: [KyGreenup] Huerfano > Hey Kathy, > > Oh, I just love of good genealogy mystery! > > Have you subscribed to the Kentucky mailing list?
